I’m Peter, an Irish musical theatre writer, composer and lyricist.

I write large-scale musical dramas built on stories with emotional depth and compelling characters. My music seeks to realise the full dramatic potential of each work.

My debut musical, Great Expectations: The Making of a Gentleman, is a new musical drama inspired by Dickens’ Great Expectations. Written for the stage with book, music and lyrics by me, it reimagines Dickens’ novel through a contemporary, character-centred score. 

A table read and staged reading were completed in 2026 as part of the musical’s development. Alongside its continued development, I have now begun work on my second original stage musical.
