Welcome.

I’m Peter, an Irish musical theatre writer, composer and lyricist.

I write musical dramas driven by emotionally rich stories and compelling characters.

My debut musical, Great Expectations: The Making of a Gentleman, is a new musical drama inspired by Dickens’ Great Expectations. Written for the stage with book, music and lyrics by me, it reimagines Dickens’ novel through a character-centred score.

A table read and a staged reading took place in 2026 as part of the musical’s development. Alongside its continued development, I have begun work on my second original stage musical.

This website offers an overview of my work and background. To explore Great Expectations: The Making of a Gentleman in greater detail, visit its dedicated  website.
